Glossary

Consultation: A free 15-20 minute phone conversation to discuss client concerns, therapy services, and options. We love assisting families in finding the best option for their needs. Understanding options for speech therapy can be overwhelming. That is why some of our most valued conversations are providing families with their options. Whether it be therapy with our office, a referral to another office, or guidance on insurance and school district options, we truly enjoy helping families understand this process.

Evaluation: A formal assessment that typically takes 1-2+ hours. Includes a comprehensive evaluation report that contains performance on all testing tasks, recommendations regarding therapy, and specific goals for therapy.

Therapy
Schedule

Duration of therapy sessions is typically 30 or 45 minutes, but is ultimately determined by the individual client's needs. Therapy sessions are scheduled for the same time and day each week.
