About Us

Simpson Speech and Language is owned and operated by Noriko K. Simpson, M.S., CCC-SLP. Nori is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the state of California. She has experience working with pediatric and adult populations within school, hospital, and private practice settings. 

 

Nori relocated back to the Central Valley from the Bay Area with her husband and children. She was raised in Reedley, CA and is excited to be back in the Valley close to her family. She enjoys spending time on the coast, testing out new recipes, watching baseball and basketball (Go A's and Warriors!) and enjoying time with her family.

 

From Nori: "I am passionate about the clients and the families that come into the office. I enjoy serving, collaborating, and learning from the children and their families that come in for therapy. Additionally, I feel grateful to mentor and lead a group of wonderful therapists. I am very selective when hiring, and make certain that all therapists represent the high standards of SSL. We collaborate together to read and attend continuing education courses in order to stay up to date on the most current research and therapy approaches. Reviewing current research is essential in order to provide the most effective therapy as possible. SSL is also committed to creating functional goals that will most positively impact the client and their family's quality of life and daily living. I truly love interacting with the children and their families. I am grateful for the opportunity to assist anyone who calls our office."
